Our Workshops
For Daisies (Grades K-1)
Arts & Design
A fun-filled class where scouts dive into the world of colors, shapes, and imagination! In this hands-on, exciting adventure, young artists will explore a variety of art materials and techniques to create their very own masterpieces.
Craft & Tinker
Scouts will dive into the colorful world of hands-on crafting! Using simple materials like paper, glue, markers, and buttons, kids will create fun and exciting projects like personalized picture frames, fun paper animals, and festive decorations. Each session encourages creativity while helping students develop fine motor skills.
For Brownies (Grades 2-3)
Arts & Design
From sketching and painting to creating unique sculptures, students will learn to express themselves through different mediums. They'll experiment with textures, patterns, and colors while building their skills in drawing, painting, and more.
Craft & Tinker
Scouts will explore a variety of crafting techniques and materials to make awesome, one-of-a-kind creations! From making friendship bracelets to designing decorative jars and creating custom t-shirts, students will build their crafting skills while expressing their individuality.
Game-Making
From board games to card games, students will use their creativity and problem-solving skills to create their very own games. They’ll brainstorm ideas, design rules, and build their games using fun materials. Whether it’s a fast-paced challenge or a story-driven adventure, this workshop is all about having fun while learning how to make a game from scratch!
For Juniors (Grades 4-5)
Arts & Design
Dive into a fun-filled adventure of creativity, exploration, and imagination! Get ready to experiment with exciting materials like clay, watercolor, and recycled art supplies to make your projects truly one-of-a-kind. You'll learn cool techniques like 3D sculpture, abstract painting, and even create art inspired by your favorite stories or dreams!
Craft & Tinker
Scouts will take their crafting skills to the next level with more advanced techniques and materials! Students will learn to work with clay, upcycled materials, and even basic sewing, creating projects like custom jewelry, dream catchers, and mini sculptures. They'll also get the chance to experiment with mixed media art, combining different materials to create truly unique pieces.
Digital Photography
Scouts will explore the exciting world of photography through fun, hands-on projects! Using simple cameras or smartphones, students will learn how to capture beautiful pictures, focusing on basics like lighting, angles, and composition. Whether it’s taking photos of nature, their friends, or everyday objects, they'll discover how to tell stories with pictures.
Music
Discover the joy of creating and exploring music! Girl Scouts will learn how music is made, explore sounds from around the world, and see how music plays a role in their own lives. Then they'll create and perform their very own musical piece.
Playing the Past
Step into another time and bring history to life! Girl Scouts will choose a character from the past, design a costume, and explore what daily life was like in a different era. Through games and hands-on fun, they’ll immerse themselves in their character—learning, laughing, and living history.
For Cadets (Grades 6-8)
Digital Photography
Cadets will dive deeper into the art of photography! They’ll learn about important concepts like framing, perspective, and the rule of thirds, while experimenting with different techniques like close-up photography and portrait shots. Students will also explore editing tools to enhance their photos and discover how to create visual stories through their lens.
Comic Art
Dive into the world of comic art and tell your own visual story! Girl Scouts will explore comic styles, choose a story to share, sketch it out in panels, and bring it to life with words and drawings.
Screenwriting
Explore the art of writing for film or TV! Girl Scouts will learn what makes a great script, develop a story idea, create characters, and build a plot. Then they’ll write a 12-page script and share their work with others.
Public Speaking
Build confidence and shine on stage! Girl Scouts will practice solo performing, explore body language and vocal expression, and choose or create a piece to share. Then it’s time to step into the spotlight and perform!
For Seniors (Grades 9-10)
Collage Artist
Seniors will explore the dynamic art of collage, using a variety of materials like magazines, fabric, photographs, and found objects to create powerful, visually striking compositions. Students will learn how to combine different textures, colors, and layers to tell a personal story or convey a message.
Troupe Performance
Discover what it takes to put on a great show! Girl Scouts will choose a performance style, develop their material, and rehearse as a team. Then they’ll launch their performance and take the stage together.
Ambassadors (Grades 11-12)
Photography
Ambassadors will sharpen their photography skills while exploring the art and techniques of professional photography. They’ll learn about exposure, composition, and editing to create powerful, story-driven images. Perfect for aspiring photographers ready to build a polished portfolio!
Troupe Performance
