Acting Adventures
Grades 3–5 | In-Studio at EMC ARTS
Tuesdays from 4:00 pm -6:00 pm
Step into the spotlight! In this fun and confidence-building acting class, young performers will explore the fundamentals of theater through games, improvisation, and short scripted scenes. Students will learn how to use their voices, bodies, and imaginations to bring characters to life while building teamwork and communication skills.
Each session culminates in a mini showcase for family and friends, celebrating creativity, collaboration, and the joy of performance. No experience needed — just enthusiasm and a love for storytelling!


Acting & Performance Workshop
Grades 3–5 (Tuesdays from 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm)
Grades 6–8 (Thursday from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm)
For the aspiring actor ready to take it up a notch! This workshop-style class gives middle school students a deeper look into character development, scene study, stage presence, and ensemble work. Through acting exercises, improvisation, and short plays, students will build confidence, express emotion authentically, and discover their individual strengths as performers.
The program concludes with a showcase performance that highlights both individual growth and the power of collaboration on stage. Multi-Media Art Explorers
Ages 5 – 8 (Mondays - 4:00 pm - 5:00 pm)
Ages 9 – 12 (Mondays - 5:30 pm - 6:30 pm)
Middle School (Grades 6–8)

Young artists will dive into a world of color, creativity, and imagination! This playful multi-media art class introduces children to painting, sketching, and sculpting with air-dry clay — giving them the chance to explore different textures and techniques each week.
Through hands-on projects and guided instruction, students will build confidence, strengthen fine-motor skills, and discover the joy of self-expression. Every class brings a new creative adventure and a masterpiece to take home!

Bring your stories to life — one panel at a time! In this hands-on class, students will learn the fundamentals of comic book illustration and visual storytelling. From dynamic character design and perspective to layout, inking, and lettering, teens will explore how to build a narrative through art.
Students will create original short comics, developing both their artistic technique and creative voice. Perfect for aspiring illustrators, writers, and graphic novel fans!

Painting Fantasy Miniatures: Dungeons & Dragons Edition
Ages 12 & Up | In-Studio at EMC ARTS
Fridays 4:00 pm - 5:30 pm
Bring your Dungeons & Dragons adventures to life — one miniature at a time! In this hands-on art class, students will learn professional techniques for painting detailed fantasy figures used in tabletop role-playing games. From brave heroes to mythical creatures, participants will explore color theory, shading, highlighting, and fine-detail brushwork to make each character come alive on the game board.
Students will develop patience, precision, and creative storytelling as they transform unpainted miniatures into customized works of art. All materials are provided, and no prior painting experience is needed — just imagination and a love for fantasy worlds!
